Welcome to Resume Maker, developed by Aman Grover ("we", "our", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the app.
The following information is collected during sign-in via Firebase Authentication (Google Sign-In):
Resume content you enter — including work experience, education, skills, projects, certifications, and languages — is stored in Firebase Firestore (Google's cloud infrastructure) and is also cached locally on your device for offline access. This data is accessible only to you via your authenticated account.
If you upload a profile photo from your device gallery or capture one using the camera, it is stored locally on your device only and is used solely for resume generation within the app. It is not uploaded to any server.
When you make a one-time purchase via Google Play, your purchase status (plan type, access date, and Google Play purchase token) is stored in Firebase Firestore to manage your access to premium features. We do not store any card or banking details.

Resume Maker includes an optional AI summary generator. When you use this feature, relevant resume content (such as job title, skills, and work experience) is sent to Groq, Inc. (groq.com) to generate a professional summary. This data is processed by Groq in accordance with their Privacy Policy. Use of the AI feature is optional and no data is sent unless you explicitly tap "Generate with AI".
Premium templates are available via a one-time payment of ₹100 through Google Play Billing, which grants permanent lifetime access with no recurring or subscription charges. We do not collect or store your card or banking details — all payment transactions are handled securely by Google. Your purchase status is stored in Firebase Firestore solely to grant you access to premium features. Refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy.
We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with the following trusted third-party services that are necessary to operate the app:
Your name, email, resume data, and purchase status are retained in Firebase Firestore for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time (see Section 9).

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including Firebase security rules that restrict access to your data to your authenticated account only. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
This app is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected with an updated effective date on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
